If you need help when we are closed
When the practice is closed, you can contact NHS 111 for medical advice on urgent matters.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy – if your query is of a non-urgent nature and you can wait until the surgery reopens, we advise you to use our Online Consultation service instead and get a response from the practice before the end of the next working day.
Accessibility
Accessible WC
Accessible male and female toilet facilities have recently been upgraded and redecorated. Both have a call system if assistance required.
Induction Loop
We have induction loops available at Reception and the Dispensary. If you need this facility for your consultation please advise the Reception Staff.
Car Parking
Patient car parking is available on site for a small charge of 50pence for 45 minutes. This helps maintain and manage the car park ensuring that it is safe and not abused by non patients.
If you have a current blue badge parking is free of charge anywhere in the Rother House car park when displayed. There is 1allocated bay but please feel free to park anywhere else if this is not available.
Step Free Access
All clinical areas are on one level. Patients do not need to go up or down any steps to access the building. The main doors are automatic.
Wheelchair Use
If you require the use of one of our wheelchairs within the practice, you will be assisted by one of our Reception team. They will have to wheel the chair around the practice for you and will help you until you are called in for your appointment.
Transport Links
The practice is located near to the town centre of Stratford-upon-Avon. We are a 5-10 minute walk from the main bus terminals on Wood Street and Bridge Street and less than a 5 minute walk from Stratford-upon-Avon Railway Station.
Additional Needs
If you need help with any other adjustments or have an additional need whilst you are in the practice, please inform the Reception team.

How to make a complaint
We aim to give a friendly and professional service to everyone who attends our practice. However, if, for any reason, our service should fall below our patients’ satisfaction, we take all complaints very seriously. If you would like to make a complaint regarding the surgery or the services we offer, please contact the Practice Manager, either by telephone or in writing, who will make every effort to respond to your concerns as soon as possible. All complaints will be treated as confidential.
Alternatively, fill in this form:
The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman website contains detailed information on raising a complaint about any aspect of the NHS in England. There is also a leaflet explaining the procedure of bringing a complaint to the ombudsman.
From 2025, all GP practices have agreed to the implementation of You and Your General Practice (YYGP). It is an agreement for what practices and patients can expect from each other in order for the best possible service to be provided within the confines of general practice.
