Our practice consists of 7 GP partners, 12 salaried GPs, 2 Registrars, 6 Practice/Specialist Nurses, 4 Healthcare Assistants, 17 Reception staff, and 5 Dispensers representing around 17,000 patients.

Within practice we house 10 Clinic rooms and 6 Treatment/Exam rooms. Based on the Alcester Road, we are within walking distance of the town centre bus stops, Stratford-upon-Avon Train Station, and Stratford Hospital. We also have a branch surgery at the Rosebird Pharmacy which is home to 2 clinic rooms.

We offer a wide range of clinics and services from Minor Operations to the Family Planning Clinic. We offer specialist clinical support within practice as well as a wide range of physical, social and mental wellbeing support through our PCN.

Appointment Schedule

Our GP appointments are bookable via the NHS App/Patient Access, by submitting an online consultation, or by contacting the Practice by phone. The majority of our appointments are bookable on the day on the apps from 07:45am or by phone from 08:00am.

We also provide a number of pre-bookable appointments a week in advance, please check the NHS App for availability.

On weeks with bank holidays, we have to reduce the number of pre-bookable appointments due to the decreased capacity for total appointments and to ensure any urgent issues are dealt with in the limited time available.

Prescriptions

When you register with the practice we receive your record from your previous GP practice. However, in order to ensure you can reorder your prescriptions for the next month we need you to have a discussion with one of our Clinical Pharmacists and for you to provide proof of your prescription list.

Once this is done your prescriptions will be set up with the practice, including your nominated pharmacy.

Online Services

As a practice, we want to empower you to have more control over your healthcare. One of the best ways you can achieve this is by ensuring you are utilising the NHS App or Patient Access app to its full extent. Both of these applications can be used to order prescriptions, book appointments in practice, view your health record or keep up to date with hospital appointments.

In order to set this up we do require a form to be filled in within practice. If you need further help to get you set up, you can come and see our digital care coordinator, who will introduce you to the app and ensure you are confident in using all of its features.

Health Condition and Medication Reviews

LTCs and Annual Review systems: If you suffer with any long term health conditions (LTCs) or take any medication you will want at least one review annually, depending on your condition and management plan. In order to ensure this, we have set up a review system which will recall you during your birth month.

Any blood tests or monitoring checks that are required will be completed the month prior to your birth month, followed by your review with the relevant clinician in your birth month. If, at any time, you believe you need a review for your LTC, this can also be arranged.

Patient Forms

We frequently help patients by completing forms that require a medical professional’s input. These can range from holiday cancellation forms to firearms licenses, DVLA forms to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) forms.

The process of these forms tends to be consistent. Either yourself or the representing organisation provides us with the form required for completion. This will be added to a tracking sheet for all forms that we routinely update and then handed to one of our GPs, Dr Khan or Dr McGuigan. Once received, we will endeavour to have your forms completed and returned within 28 working days.

You will be contacted as soon as your forms are ready to collect or have been sent to the recipient organisation and any payment that is required will be completed then. Please see our non-NHS fees form for pricing lists.
