Online Services

Patients have the ability to take control of their healthcare using either the NHS App or Patient Access App. Both apps perform the same functions and can be used on mobile phones, tablets and computers. So it is only necessary to use one of the two.

Benefits of the services:

  • Ordering your prescriptions on your phone, tablet or computer.
  • Booking appointments at the practice.
  • Accessing test results once they have been reviewed by your doctor.
  • Receiving communications from the practice or the hospital.
  • Staying up to date with your hospital appointments.

Proxy Access

Patient’s have the option to set up proxy access which allows the ‘proxy’ to discuss the patient’s health and access the NHS App/Patient Access app on their behalf. There are two situations this can be utilised:

  • You are a patient’s parent wishing to act on behalf of your child
  • The patient is over 18 and has the mental capacity to consent

To set this up, you must complete a proxy access form which can be collected from the practice.
